Description

Coming up with a good idea is one thing, turning it into a successful and viable business is a whole different angle. In tonight’s event we aim to tackle the idea on how one can turn a good invention into a successful business. Throughout the evening, this question will be addressed from various angles and experiences, giving a wide view of what it takes for an academic to become an entrepreneur.

BioCity will share with us their what it takes for a startup to survive through several rounds of investments based on their experience of mentoring several start-ups in their business accelerator. This will be followed by an interactive panel discussion, in which we will have several experts who will answer your questions on whether an academic mindset is fit for becoming an entrepreneur. We will conclude the evening with a networking reception.
